'Advanced Fashion Design Student Meiliany Tjia, who is originally from Indonesia, took inspiration from flowers, architecture, and Coco Chanel while designing her DEBUT collection, “Femme Fatale,” which consists of jackets, coats, dresses, pants, and skirts that fit the fall season. We chatted with the International Student about her path to FIDM, the message behind her collection, and how she’s handling the postponement of DEBUT. _ Held each spring, the DEBUT Runway Show features designs by graduating students in the Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Design Advanced Study programs, as well as work from Interior Design, Digital Media, and Textile Design students.'
