There are no rules in the name of fashion, so if you feel like dancing your way down a suspended fountain runway, let’s be real, only Kendall Jenner could get away with that stunt. The reality-star-turned-super-model has officially taken her fashion game to the next level. Following her 4th of July holiday weekend in Malibu, Kendall booked it back to Europe just in time for one of the biggest fashion shows of the year. In celebration of the 90th anniversary of Fendi, the fur brand’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld completely outdid himself and the brand’s first Haute Couture show in Paris by holding an extravagant production over the famous tourist landmark Trevi Fountain with a glass runway overlooking the pool of water. And how in Trevi’s name they allowed this, you’re probably wondering? According to news outlet WWD, Fendi recently supported the fountain’s restoration, which apparently came with some perks, including the ability to close off four nearby streets in the height of tourist season. Kendall, who also got a piece of those perks, appeared ecstatic about the new runway setting, as seen in a short Boomerang-style video posted to her Instagram, where she’s taking a practice stroll, dancing and goofing off before the big show. She captioned the video, “Just another Wednesday.” Yeah, must be nice. And as for Kendall’s look for the show, it appears that she will be donning a blue detailed coat and matching bell skirt, paired with red stiletto boots and a white shoulder bag. There is no word yet on whether she will be fashioning multiple looks down the raining runway, so we’re just gonna have to wait and see.
