'“Comfort is coolness, it is the current of air, it is the shade.\" (Corbusier. n.d). Nobody hates the rain per se, we just don’t want to get wet; Nobody hates the sun per se, we just don’t want the heat and the glare; Nobody hates the wind unless it’s a hurricane or typhoon; the natural comfort afforded by a cool breeze in the shade of a safe structure: roof eaves or mountain trees is a fresh and delightful experience no artificial active cooling can afford. Passive solar houses attempts to harness comfort from the natural elements: natural sunlight, wind, water, etc., to ameliorate energy, environmental, health and climate crisis. Passive design strategies continues its effort to shift 100% energy production and use to renewables to supplement local and international economic and environmental needs.'
