He, er.. I\'m not sure what the working woman is going to wear to work, but he did two major statements. He did chiffon, very sexy, beautiful prints, lot of red. And then he did some separates, usually with chiffon, and those were the two things that he showed. I know that there\'ll be a lot more day-wear in the showroom.\" MALKOVICH AT UNGARO The Carrousel du Louvre was the setting for the ready-to-wear Spring-Summer 2003 collection from the house of EMANUEL UNGARO. Disgner Giam-Batista Valli is finding his own voice and style as his work progresses. The show was all \'ole\' - an exuberant offering of \'Carmen\' style dresses with masses of chiffon and ruffles galore. The theme worked well - a soft and feminine feel pervaded the show as Valli avoided predictable cliches. Leggy silhouettes in tight matador pants were seen thoughout the collection, complimented by tipped trilby hats and a few tiny sequined boleros. As usual with UNGARO the colours spanned the palette in detail and accent, with the polka-dot patterns giving the collection a fresh, unique feel.
