'The Glycemic Index: How to figure out the GI of a food from a Nutrition Label'

20:03 Oct 5, 2023
'The one tool I’ve used for 2 Decades, that never lets me down, is the Glycemic Index. . I’ve never put my focus on weighing, calculating, or hitting exact numerical values...I’ve just eaten according to the GI. . I’ve learned ways in which I can “Hack” my way through splurges of high GI foods, but focus on low GI for the majority of the time. . Macro counting, Keto, Paleo, etc are all options that CAN work...but will be less likely to easily maintain like the Glycemic Index. . The glycemic index was developed to show how fast a food impacts blood sugar and insulin, and to what degree the spike is. . The name of the game is fat burning, so you need to keep blood sugar and insulin regulated in order to stay in that zone. With high glycemic nutrition, you will be in a fat storage zone. . I base my clients customized nutrition plans around low glycemic nutrition and teach them ways in which they can enjoy the high GI goods on occasion. . Feel free to download my free GI list through link in bio and also apply for coaching through link in bio. . What is your favorite low GI food?? . . . . . #weightloss #macros #lowglycemic #keto #iifym #onlineweightloss #onlinecoaching #mombod #momboss #fitmom #momswholift #nutrition #weightlosscoach #entrepreneur #mombodstrong #diabetes #diabetic #diabeticnutrition #enterpreneur #fatloss #fatlosscoach'
