'Bridal Fashion Week New York City Fall 2019 Our first BFW! We didn\'t realize that BFW is for a year in advance, so we weren\'t seeing S19, but we were seeing F19. There were lots of presentations and runway shows. Delia got to see Shelley Brown, who works at The Knot (we previously interviewed her on our blog: https://thestylethatbindsus.com/2017-6-4-shelley-brown-fashion-beauty-editor-the-knot/)! It was a jam-packed schedule, which was tiring since we had just arrived from Paris Fashion Week! Lots of traffic in Manhattan made it challenging to get to everything on time, but it all worked out! There were a lot of sexy bridal dresses. The naked dressing trend continues to bridal, which you would think would be for the wedding night, but might as well show everyone else too! It was interesting seeing so many brides walking down the runway since on your wedding day it is attention all on you! There has been lots of diversity on the catwalk in terms of sizes and colors. BFW is very small, so you see the same people at the shows and presentations. I am obsessed with the back of the wedding dress. Usually the front is quieter and the back makes a statement.
