'(10 Feb 2019) MODELS KENDALL JENNER AND LIU WEN TAKE A BREAK FROM THE CATWALK TO SIT FRONT ROW AT LONGCHAMP SHOW Kendall Jenner and Liu Wen were models off duty at Saturday\'s (9 FEB. 2019) Longchamp New York Fashion Week show. \"This is the second time Longchamp has done a show for New York Fashion Week and this is my first time to sit front row and watch the show,\" Wen said. \"I mean, I really love the collection because it\'s like a later 70\'s style - the girl is very cool, so they are very strong.\" Creative director Sophie Delafontaine that she was moved to take her second collection beyond the streets of Paris and to the concrete jungle of New York. \"My inspiration was based on a woman traveling from New York to Paris,\" she said. \"It\'s really a mix of this Parisian attitude, effortless, natural, very elegant woman with a lot of felinity and black and white mixed with a lot of graphic and New York spirt and very colorful also. I mixed both inspirations the silhouette.\" And who else embodies the on-the-go Paris to New York girl better than Kendall Jenner, who is the face of the brand? \"She is very American, but I think she is maybe the most Parisienne one out of all of those American girls,\" Delafontaine explained. \"She has also a touch of Parisienne in her lifestyle. I like her free spirit, which is also very Longchamp.\" Actress Emma Roberts was also spotted in the Longchamp front row. \"I have been trying to come to a Longchamp show for so long and so excited that they were doing this in New York and it\'s my birthday tomorrow, so it\'s like an early celebration getting to dress up in Longchamp clothing and getting to come here,\" Roberts said. \" I\'m dying to see the new pieces because the last collection I was just obsessed with.\" Delafontaine\'s fall-winter 2019 ready-to-wear collection embodied the feminine tough girl with several studded, leather minis, bold black and white graphic tops and pants accessorized with chucky paten and animal print waist belts, \'70s-inspired knit tops styled over flowy whimsical dresses and ruffled skirts paired with airy, equestrian-style blouses. The pieces also included cropped vests over bold, electric prints and funky patterns, while each model sported a signature Longchamp handbag. Cindy Crawford\'s daughter, Kaia Gerber, who is following in her famous mother\'s catwalk footsteps, modeled the second to last look of the show.
