'The Chinese Women\'s Society Sheh Hui hosted a special fashion show titled \"Red\" March 17, 2013 at The Pacific Club, featuring fashions by local designers 2 Couture\'s Takeo and Eric Eugene Kamakahia\'ai Chandler, and Melenani Fashions Kimberly Williams, as well as jewelry by Anna Meng of The Meng Dynasty. The event also honored Foodland Supermarket entrepreneur Joanna Sullivan for her business success, philanthropy work, and sense of style. Red was sponsored by Honolulu philanthropist Dr. Lawrence Tseu, and a portion of the proceeds would benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities, which Sullivan selected. Fashion House 2 Couture of Honolulu, Eric Chandler and Takeo, exhibited some of their new fashions as well as wrangling models and designers for the event. Kimberly Williams, who designs under the name Melenani, studied at Parsons in New York and is showing some of her styles influenced by Anna Karenina. Jewelry designer Anna Meng started her company in 2003, mixing Chinese freshwater pearls with semi-precious stones, antique beads and ornaments that she imports from China. Her company goes under the name Meng Dynasty. We wish to thank all of the models and the steering committee who worked on the event.
