'Live recording of My Chemical Romance on 2003-06-08 at Bloomfield Ave Cafe in Montclair, NJ, US. I don\'t particularly like to dwell on the negative aspects, but I feel like the weirdness needs to be addressed! Please bear with me. This audience was a mixed bag. There are moments where they\'re so loudly singing along to every word, even drowning out Gerard at points. The words \"horripilation\" and \"piloerection\" come to mind, truly. It was inspiring. Then there are moments where some in the audience displayed horrible behavior. One person hijacks the microphone and says something incredibly stupid that gets ignored by the band but is awkwardly applauded by everyone else. There\'s also a lot of groan inducing heckling/commentary by a few desperate to be funny and get noticed. This time the words are \"wince\" and \"cringe\". Some people were unnecessarily physical, even towards the back by the soundboard, stepping on feet, elbowing, backhanding, and pushing others over. Like it was a hardcore show where they couldn\'t help themselves but to unapologetically flail around and hit others who were not willing participants in such an expression. Evidenced by a plea by someone to \"JFC, Stop it!\" during It\'s Not A Fashion Statement, It\'s A Fucking Deathwish. No disrespect to hardcore or that style of expression, but these folks did not consider time and place or, most importantly, consent by those around them. Bad form! Perhaps it was the sweltering heat and dehydration? Perhaps they were only concerned about themselves?
